This winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1965, is the Vintage Giant (V-330) edition published in 1966. Originally published in 1934, this edition was issued after the writer won the Nobel Prize.
This paperback edition shows some wear on the cover, but the binding is tight and the book itself is otherwise in very good condition.
Filmed twice in Russia, first in 1931 and again in 1957. Finally filmed in the west in 2006, it starred Rupert Everett, F. Murray Abraham and Ben Gazzara.
